The light distribution plate originally included in the instrument panel becomes increasingly orange over the years, reducing light output, you find this problem on almost all Delta’s.<\/p>\n
The bulb bases are easy to replace, the unit does not need to be completely disassembled the bulbs are accessible from above when the counter housing rests on the steering column.<\/p>\n
Please note when mounting, Led lights only work with plus and minus pole connected correctly. We mark the plus pole, which must always point upwards when mounting these lights in the instrument cluster. Always test if all three lights work before reassembling the unit!<\/p>\n
With these bulbs, the dimmer also continues to function as usual! So the bulbs can be dimmed.<\/p>\n

This upgrade is always easy to undo without damage; just put the original bulbs with base back in the recess and the original setup is back.<\/p>\n
